Gift Ideas For The Person Who Has Everything

Are you having a hard time deciding what to give someone as a 
gift?  Try to take a look at this person from a new perspective. 
 Sometimes gifts we or others have given this person in the past 
may be a good indication of what he/she likes.  Was there a 
special gift this person opened that made her face light up?  Or 
maybe there was a time in her life when she was really 
interested in a particular hobby and has not had that hobby in 
some time.  Think about the person's entire life, or maybe what 
others who are similar in age remeber from their past.

Maybe she really enjoys traditional gifts like flowers, but you 
are bored with getting her that every year.  What about taking 
those flowers into a different medium such as framed art or 
photo of flowers, an article of clothing with flowers, chocolate 
flowers, a book about flowers, a flower-scented perfume, 
membership to a botanical society, tickets to an upcoming floral 
and home show, or a gift certificate to a nursery.  

You can take this line of thinking and apply it to other kinds 
of interest as well.  Does Dad already own every tool in 
existence?  I know mine does, but that doesn't mean I cannot 
give him a tool-related gift.  How about a tool t-shirt, 
chocolate tools, a how-to book or  video where he can use some 
of his tools, a new tool box or organizer, a subscription to a 
tool magazine or even an antique tool as a momento of ages past.

Maybe sports are his thing, but tickets to his favorite team are 
too expensive, and he already subscribes to Sports Illustrated.
